Bills Khakis Model Differences

Bills Khakis offers their various pants & shorts in several models in order to offer every gentleman a fit that feels good and looks good. Once you find the Bills Khakis model that works for you, there will be dozens of choices of pants & shorts in a variety of fabrics and colors that will fit the same every time.

Model 1 (a.k.a. M1) - Plain front, Relaxed fit.
It doesn't get any more real than this. Patterned directly after America's World War II originals, Bills Khakis' flagship model is characterized by a long rise, full seat, voluminous drill-cloth pockets, heavy brass zipper and rugged construction. Model #1 tends to be worn a little higher on the waist and provides tremendous comfort and mobility. So, as with all our products, expect a lot. 23" knee, 19" bottom. Available in even waist sizes: 30" through 46"; odd waist sizes: 31" through 37". All inseams unfinished up to 39".

Model 2 (a.k.a M2) - Plain front, Standard fit.
For those who don't want or don't need a fuller cut. Model #2 features everything found in their Model #1, but an inch less through the rise, seat and leg. As far as workmanship, construction and look, Bills Khakis didn't change a thing. 22" knee, 18.5" bottom. Available in even waist sizes: 30" through 46"; odd waist sizes: 31" through 37". All inseams unfinished up to 39".

Model 1 Pleat (a.k.a. M1P) - Forward pleat, Relaxed fit.
Fully cut through the rise, seat and leg. The same spec as our original Model #1, but with two deep forward pleats. Still features the same deep drill-cloth pockets, cord threaded horn buttons, and the same rugged construction. With starch or without, all our models are completely in their element, everywhere. Available in even waist sizes: 30" through 46"; odd waist sizes: 31" through 37". All inseams unfinished up to 39".

Model 2 Pleat (a.k.a. M2P) - Reverse pleat, Standard fit.
Model # 2 Pleated is Bills Khakis' most popular model simply because it fits most people, most of the time. M2P still features all the authentic quality features found in our original Model #1, but is cut approximately an 1” less full in the rise seat and leg. Available in even waist sizes 30” through 46”; odd sizes 31” through 37”. All inseams are unfinished to 39”.

Model 3 (a.k.a. M3) - Plain front, Trim fit.
Model #3 is Bills Khakis' trimmest fitting model through the rise, seat, and thigh. Fabric, construction, zipper and buttons remain the same throughout. Available in even waist sizes: 30" through 46", and odd sizes 31" though 37".
