Saphir Pate de Luxe Wax Shoe Polish
Product Description
Saphir Médaille d'Or Pâte de Luxe is an all-natural wax polish based on beeswax, turpentine, and carnauba, with six other nutrient waxes. This turpentine base is a natural by-product of pine trees, unlike the petroleum bases found in ordinary waxes. Moreover, Saphir MDO contains double the amount of pigment found in typical wax polish. These pigments have been selected for their brilliance, transparency, and clarity, and help rebuild the finish on fine shoes.
Saphir MDO immediately stands apart from ordinary polishes for beinng both lighter and more oily. The wax spreads very easily and achieves a high-gloss polish when buffed. We recommend first applying a coat of Saphir Pommadier Cream to restore the color saturation, then following up with the MDO to further moisturize and provide a high-gloss shine. When selecting a color for non-black shoes, keep in mind that a wax lighter in color than the shoe's leather will maintain the original finish, while a wax that's darker will (over time) provide an antiqued, variegated finish.
